Rockstar's all but confirmed the release of Red Dead Redemption's PC port with its latest launcher update leaking metadata.
In May, Rockstar's launcher site file leaked marketing strings that read 'Red Dead Redemption, and its zombie-horror companion, Undead Nightmare. Now playable on PC.'
At this point, the PC port is a reality we're only waiting for Rockstar to accept. Hell, even the game's Steam app ID leaked; which, hopefully, could mean an immediate Steam release.
RDR has been the subject of remaster and remake rumorsfor years now. After all, PC players were unable to play the iconic Western while console players, even PS4 and Switch, could— aside from so-so emulators.
As with all things Rockstar, these rumors varied in quality. Some were straight-up leaks, and others were subtle Korean rating changes. Don't judge; it has been a long 24 years since the game's release.
Rockstar hasn't commented on these recent leaks, and given its tight-lipped nature, it's unlikely it will.
