EA's Full Circle team has been hard at work on the next installment in the Skate franchise for several years. Now, it has been announced that the much anticipated game will be launching in early access in 2025.
Stylized as skate, Full Circle announced back in 2022 that it would be "a free-to-play live service game." This will allow gamers and skaters of all budget ranges to hop right in and enjoy a skate session with their buddies.
While still speculative, most of the game's money should be made off of cosmetics, and the developers have promised no implementation of pay-to-win gameplay mechanics.
Hype around this game has been high, only ramping up since the 2020. Back in mid-2023, a Redditor uploaded a collection of concept art and images which pointed to in-game skins.
The art style was definitely quite different to past Skate games, but refreshing nonetheless.
One of the most exciting things about this upcoming Skate title is that it will be playable on PC.
While skateboarding titles like Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2 and Driftwoodare available on PC, there's nothing quite like Skate.
