Horizon Zero Dawn Remaster Leaks

Just seven years after it was released, and despite already being backwards compatible with a current-gen patch, Horizon Zero Dawn is getting a remaster.

As reported by Twisted Voxel, the game was revealed ahead of an official announcement on the ESRB rating board, but it only tells us the name and that it will launch for PC and PS5.

Following allegations of Steve Blackman's "toxic" and "bullying" work environment, Netflix has reportedly cancelled the Horizon Zero Dawn show.

It could be an enhanced version slated for the PS5 Pro's release on November 7 to show off the console's improved tech, but that's purely speculative. We don't know anything concrete yet.

It's worth noting that rumours have been swirling for a couple of years about a revamped Horizon Zero Dawn. But there's not much we can glean from the rumours either, since they claimed it was a remake, not a remaster, and likewise didn't involve any key details. Until Sony reveals the remaster proper, all we can say is that a native, upgraded PS5 version is on the way.
