Images purportedly of the unannounced Nintendo Switch successor (henceforth referred to as the Switch 2) have been leaked online. These pictures were posted on a Chinese forum by an alleged factory worker at one of the locations manufacturing the new Nintendo Switch.
There are 11 images of the Switch 2 in a computer design program, sometimes alongside the original Nintendo Switch. Also included is a single photo of the Switch 2 without one of its plates on, showcasing the interior of the console. It's difficult to confirm the veracity of these images, but there are a couple of leaked descriptions that match the leaked designs. These images were posted on the Gaming Leaks and Rumours subreddit on Reddit.
A separate leaker on the same Chinese website posted an alleged spec list for the console, which appears to match up with the leaked images. Notable changes from the original Switch include a USB-C port on the top and bottom of the console, a noticeably larger screen and what appears to be an extra bumper on each Joy-Con. The game slot appears to be the same on both models, implying backwards compatibility with games on the original Nintendo Switch.
