Kingdom Hearts has a slightly unfair reputation for being absolutely baffling. That kind of reputation will undoubtedly have pushed some people away from trying out the series in the past, confusing many as to where they should start, and which spinoffs are mandatory to play for the story to make any kind of sense. Kingdom Hearts 4 will do away with all that.

In the latest issue of popular Japanese magazine Young Jump, Kingdom Hearts co-creator and director Tetsuya Nomura has revealed a bunch of details about what kind of game he'd like Kingdom Hearts 4 to be. Alongside the revelation that the game is being made with the aim of eventually concluding the series, Nomura also claimed that Kingdom Hearts 4 will act as a story reset.

Twitter user Aitakimochi shared a translated version of the interview via her Twitter account earlier today, which reveals that Nomura wishes for Kingdom Hearts 4 to "reset the story in a way" so that he can make "make it even easier for newcomers to join the story."
