Dragon Age has always somewhat floundered when it comes to character creation, offering limited options, especially in the hair department, and just making it difficult to make attractive characters in general.
However, that appears to have changed in Dragon Age: The Veilguard. In IGN's latest preview of the character creator and combat, you can see the breadth of customisation available in Veilguard. We already knew about the game's cutting-edge hair physics, but now we also know just how many hairstyles will be available. There are going to be 88 hair options for non-Qunari protagonists, and 30 for Qunari. There's also going to be 49 unique horn styles for Qunari, a race that's been getting flack for its visual redesign.
You're also going to be able to adjust your Rook's head shape, including making facial asymmetries if you wish. In a similar vein, you'll be able to change your body shape along a triangular plane, providing the kind of body diversity that's been absent from previous entries in the series.
Fans will be incredibly pleased to find out that you can create the Inquisitor within The Veilguard's character creator, allowing you to make an Inquisitor without the awful green...
