Netflix has released the first teaser trailer for the upcoming Devil May Cry animated series, which will be helmed by former Castlevania showrunner Adi Shankar.
Set to debut in April 2025, Devil May Cry will, of course, revolve around the adventures of longtime series protagonist Dante. If you're not a fan of the 2013 reboot, you'll be pleased to know we're very much in classic Devil May Cry territory when it comes to Dante's design.
Shankar first announced the Devil May Cry animated series back in 2018, and we got our first look at the animation style and tone of the show last year, but this new trailer gives a more involved glimpse into the show's setting and characteristically stylish action sequences.
The trailer doesn't give a ton away about what the story will be, but it does show Dante leaping out of an exploding plane, battling demons, and, of course, retrieving his pistols from a pizza box, so it's definitely Devil May Cry.
