Ichiban Kasuga is available as a pre-order bonus for Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii.
Ryu Ga Gotuku Studio today announced the next entry in the Like a Dragon / Yakuza series, Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii. The upcoming game is an action-adventure featuring Goro Majima who loses his memory and winds up captaining a pirate crew on the seas surrounding Hawaii.
Following the announcement, RGG Studio announced if you pre-order any edition of the game then you'll be able to add Ichiban Kasuga and his trusty crawfish Nancy to your crew. Both Ichiban's stylish burgundy suit and his red Hawaiian shirt and jean shorts outfits will be included in the pre-order bonus.
The Digital Deluxe Edition will feature even more crewmates like Kazuma Kiryu, Daigo Dojima and "other fan-favourite Like a Dragon characters." It's unknown if there's going to be a narrative reason for all of these characters joining the Goro Pirates, or if it's more of an easter egg. It certainly wouldn't be the first time the series hasn't acknowledged characters appearing in mini-games.
