A new survey from Dead by Daylight publisher/developer Behaviour Interactive may contain some hints as to which horror crossovers the game could be seeing in the future. Dead by Daylight already features a wide variety of crossover content in its Killers and Survivors, but there's still plenty of untapped potential in the horror genre.
Launched in 2016, Dead by Daylight has held about 20 crossovers since its release. These have ranged from collaborations that do little more than add a new Killer to ones that support a fully immersive experience by also throwing in themed maps and Survivors. Past crossovers have merged Dead by Daylight with the worlds of other video games like Resident Evil and Silent Hill as well as other popular horror properties like Stranger Things.
Fans of Dead by Daylight receive unfortunate news, as an in-development spin-off title based on the lore of the game has been canceled.
