Stardew Valley'spositively received 1.6 update finally has a release date for consoles and mobile, and it won't be long before gamers can enjoy it. Indeed, the update is set for a November 4 release, which is just 43 days from now.

That bit of information comes from Eric "ConcernedApe" Barone on Twitter, who shared the news in a post that immediately garnered positive attention.
The game designer and musician also took time to answer a few questions from fans about the update.
First and foremost, "almost everything" can be experienced from an existing save, though you're more than welcome to start fresh on a new save when the update does go live. Both the Nintendo Switch and PS5 will be part of that Nov. 4 update date, so fans need not worry about their platform of choice being delayed.
