GOG has announced that a re-released version of classic survival horror game Resident Evil 3: Nemesis will be available on the platform in just a couple of days.
Launching on September 25th - that's in just two days at time of writing - Resident Evil 3 will arrive on GOG pretty much fully intact, albeit with a few modern improvements like an improved DirectX renderer and sharper visuals.
Given that the original Resident Evil was added to GOG's library back in June, and that the sequel got itself a re-release in August, it's nice to see the third game arriving and tying up the original 90s Resident Evil trilogy.
As GOG itself says, this re-released version of Resident Evil 3 is practically identical to the original; it'll be presented in all its pre-rendered glory, with the same (admittedly upscaled) blocky character models and enemies you may remember if you played it way back in the late 90s.
Of course, if you've only played the 2020 remake, then like its predecessors, this version of Resident Evil 3 might seem a little dated to you. If you're in the mood for some classic tank-control survival horror, though, this...
