Indie developer Nomada Studio still has no plans for Gris 2, saying that the first game was released as a "complete package".
This comes from Nomada Studio's lead producer Roger Mendoza, who sat down with TheGamer's Meg Pelliccio. Here, Mendoza shed some light on the studio's plans for a Gris sequel, explaining that while the idea of one hasn't been ruled out, we shouldn't expect it anytime soon.
“I mean, it always depends on the size of the cheque,” laughs Mendoza, when asked about the chances of the studio working on Gris 2. “You can never say never, of course, but no, it's not in our minds. When we're talking about other projects that we have in mind, Gris 2 is not one of them, for sure."
While this does mean that there's still a chance, we shouldn't hold our breath, as Mendoza explains that a follow-up was never in mind for Gris. “Maybe one day we have a super cool idea that fits well into the narrative and the context, but even when we were doing Gris, we knew that we were not going to do DLC, we were not going to do the second part," he says....
