Level-5's Woes Continue with Huge Decapolice Delay to 2026 | TechRaptor

Level-5 has announced a massive delay to its investigative JRPG Decapolice, with the game now not scheduled to arrive for a good couple of years.

Per a new trailer shown during today's Level-5 Vision 2024 showcase, Decapolice is now scheduled to arrive sometime in 2026, which represents a huge push back for the game given that it was originally planned for launch sometime this year.

Unfortunately, this also isn't the first delay Decapolice has suffered. Originally, it was scheduled for launch in 2023 before being delayed to 2024, so it's unfortunate that Level-5 has had to delay the game once again, although this hopefully means we'll get a better game when it's released.

The Decapolice delay comes at a particularly bad time for Level-5. Last month, the company announced that its upcoming RPG Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time had been delayed indefinitely (although there's some good news on that front today).

That delay itself comes after Level-5 announced in November last year that projects originally planned for release in 2023 had to be pushed back to 2024, and it's likely that some of those games now won't see the light of day until...
