Kingdom Hearts 3 isn't due out until the end of January, but unfortunately, copies of the game have already been leaked. How it happens remains to be seen, but it appears someone got hold of an XBox One copy of the game and started leaking images of the package art. This has caused many in the KH3 community to worry about spoilers long before the launch of the game.
Square Enix's KH3 game director Tetsuya Nomura has tweeted a lengthy post to acknowledge the leak and the company's knowledge of how it happened. He also writes that the epilogue and final "secret movie" are not part of the leaked copy so those parts won't be spoiled.
However, there is a distinct possibility that leaks from the rest of the gameplay could arrive. Nomura writes, "We want everyone to be able to equally experience the full game after its release, so we ask for your continued support on this matter"
"We're also very grateful that our fans have been warning each other already about the spoilers. Thank you very much."
