It didn't take cheaters long to start ruining Deadlock for everyone. However, Valve is a bit more on the ball here than it is with its other online games, as it rolls out a new update that focuses on keeping games fair. Better yet, it's even letting players decide what happens to any cheaters who get caught.
Now that the new update is live, anyone playing in a match with a cheater will be allowed to decide their fate: instantly ban them, or turn them into a frog. Yes, the latter option really does transform players into an amphibian, which seemingly makes them useless in a fight - very much the opposite of what they were trying to accomplish.
As reported by GamesRadar, players quickly noticed this unique anti-cheat deterrent in the new Deadlock update. We can even see it in action already, as a player uselessly hops around, apparently unable to fight back.
