Lego Ideas are fan-submitted builds that, with enough backing, are considered for an official release. Last year, a No Man's Sky set reached the 10,000 vote milestone with support from Sean Murray himself, but unfortunately it didn't make the cut. That hasn't dissuaded the community, however, who are now pushing another Lego set for consideration.
BrickDesignNL has created a Radiant Pillar BC1, much like last year's Idea, which you'll no doubt recognise as the starter ship. The set even comes with an Explorer minifig, Multitool attachment, and Sentinel Drone, complete with a display stand to show it all off.
I have played No Man's Sky since its release in 2016 [...] I can't put into words how amazing it has been to not only see the game grow, but also to see the heartwarming community expand. This model is a homage to the journey that the game and we as a community have made for more than seven years.
It currently has 2,972 supporters, with 306 days to go; that's plenty of time. To boot, it has been making waves in the community over on Reddit, with a post highlighting the Idea garnering over 1,600 upvotes at the time...
