The Witcher TV show has struggled to keep fans on board in recent years, mostly thanks to the departure of Geralt actor Henry Cavill. There have been plenty of criticisms surrounding the show in the aftermath of that announcement, whether it be due to dodgy sets or scenes that go against the official lore set out by the series author, Andrzej Sapkowski.

However, the show must go on, and new Geralt actor Liam Hemsworth has the extremely unenviable task of picking up where Cavill left off. We've yet to see Hemsworth in action, having only been given a brief clip of the actor's version of Geralt since it was announced he would be taking over, but he's been saying the right things recently to try and appeal to fans of the series.
