The football game FC 25 has beaten The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom and Astro Bot to take the top spot in the UK games sales charts, according to GFK Entertainment. The remake of a Wii game Epic Mickey: Rebrushed debuted in fourth place behind Astro Bot.
Footie is Still Coming Home
FC 25 continues the franchise's long streak of success as the British public can't get enough of the beautiful game. Jude Bellingham may have helped the sales as he was the cover star for this year's entry and was one of England's star strikers at the Euros. "The gameday experience remains fantastic and properly replicates the atmosphere, while the changes to AI greatly affect the gameplay," said our review. "These two additions alone make EA SPORTS FC 25 stand out as one of the best in the series."
The new features like the 5v5 Rush mode and the Ai-driven FC IQ seem to be big draws to this new entry. Our review says "Rush is, simply put, one of the all-time greatest additions to sports games." It's compact, small, and plays similarly to hockey. The reviewer says it's addictive.
