Being based on Dungeons & Dragons, it stands to reason that Baldur's Gate 3 would work well as a tabletop game, which makes these new official miniatures an essential purchase for fans. Wizards of the Coast hasn't shied away from Larian Studios' RPG being part of official D&D canon, going so far as to hint that some members of Tav's party could return in future products. While there's no known project that includes the likes of Wyll and Karlach, creative Dungeon Masters can use miniatures to weave their own stories.
Per the WizKids shop, fans can now purchase an "Icons of the Realms" set dedicated to Baldur's Gate 3, and the actual miniatures are fairly impressive.
Each figure comes pre-painted and the entire collection features every character one might need to continue Larian's narrative: Astarion, Shadowheart, Karlach, Laezel, Wyll, Gale, and even Withers are included in the box. The product is currently available for pre-order and can be purchased for $49.99, which is certainly steep but given the amount of detail included in each of these miniatures, the cost could be justified by diehard enthusiasts.
