In the past decade, VALORANT has been the only game that has come close to dethroning Counter-Strike as the ultimate FPS game, but recent changes indicate VALORANT is looking to move into a league of its own.

After giving the perfect multiplayer experience for over four years, VALORANT's next move seems to be something that Overwatch is no stranger to.

In Unreal Fest Seattle 2024, it was disclosed that the creators of VALORANT are possibly working on bringing players' 'playable experiences'.

Crafting a PvE experience for an established multiplayer can prove challenging, but Riot Games seems keen to face this challenge head-on.This is one of the many reasons why Blizzard had to abandon their PvE plan when it came to Overwatch 2, disappointing many fans in return.

One of the few games that has partially managed to pull it off is Fortnite, with the help of their Save the World mode. This includes the exception of recent co-op games with a campaign side to them, like Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2.
