PUBG publisher Krafton has announced that it's working on a Palworld mobile adaptation, and that said adaptation will be handled by one of its most prominent studios.
According to an announcement on the official Krafton website (which is in Korean; we're using machine translation), Krafton's mobile version of Palworld will be handled by PUBG Studios, the division responsible for developing PUBG: Battlegrounds.
Krafton says its Palworld mobile adaptation will "faithfully reinterpret and implement the original's main fun elements to fit the mobile environment" (again, the actual wording is likely to be a touch different, since we're using machine translation).
There's a lot we don't yet know about Palworld's mobile version. It sounds like Krafton will be creating a brand new version of the game rather than just porting the existing version, but beyond that, we're not sure exactly what form Palworld on mobile will take.
We also don't know when the game will launch for mobiles, nor do we know whether it'll make it out of Krafton's native Korea or not.
I'm assuming it will; after all, Palworld is a hugely popular game, so it would seem rather foolish to restrict its mobile version to one region. Still, the game technically hasn't...
