Cyberpunk 2077 Sequel Director Admits CDPR May Never Win Some Fans Back

Paweł Sasko, associate game director of the in-development sequel to Cyberpunk 2077, admits that some people may never be convinced that CD Projekt has learned from its mistakes regarding the game's disastrous launch. He resolves that words won't convince anyone, the studio will just have to prove its claims with upcoming projects.

"It might be a situation that never happens for some of them," Sasko told Eurogamer. "But that's unfortunately the price we have to pay for what happened. But I hope that, throughout the work that we are doing, throughout the things that we are showing, we can actually win some of these people around - and when they hear someone talking to them about the incredible experiences they can have in, let's say Phantom Liberty, or the next Witcher, next Cyberpunk, or next Hadar [CDPR's unannounced new IP], at the moment when they see there's that incredible value in the game, they will actually reach out for it, play it and enjoy it."
