Square Enix has announced that it's suspending the automatic demolition of Final Fantasy XIV housing for areas potentially affected by Hurricane Helene.
In an announcement on the Final Fantasy XIV website, Square Enix says that its team's "hearts go out" to those who've been caught in Hurricane Helene or affected by it in any way, and that the "damages and other factors" have led to the decision to suspend estate deletion.
Deletion has been suspended effective from today at 1:08am Pacific time (that's around 4am Eastern), and the suspension counts for every world in the Aether, Crystal, Dynamis, and Primal data centers.
If your estate was about to be deleted, you can cancel this by entering said estate or starting a new estate construction on your land, which will prevent the automatic deletion process from kicking in.
Square Enix says that it will "monitor the situation in the coming days" and announce when auto-demolition will begin again once a decision has been made. We don't know when that will be just yet, though.
When it does happen, the auto-demolition timer will continue from where it left off when it was paused, so you'll have exactly as much...
