Ubisoft Is Reportedly Working On A Co-Op Mode For Assassin's Creed Shadows

Assassin's Creed Shadows has been causing a lot of headaches for Ubisoft, whether it be down to constant arguments over protagonist Yasuke, accidental pilfering of assets, or the publisher's general lack of confidence in the title, causing it to be delayed by a couple of months due to panic surrounding the reception of Star Wars Outlaws.

However, if you push past all the drama, it's pretty clear that Ubisoft is attempting to be more ambitious with Assassin's Creed Shadows than it has with previous entries. A variety of new and returning mechanics have already been shown off in the game, and it's now being reported that Ubisoft is working on a co-op mode for the title that will release post-launch.

This is according to a new report from Insider Gaming, which claims that a co-op mode for Assassin's Creed Shadows is currently in development under the codename LEAGUE. It's also claimed that this mode isn't targeting a specific release window just yet, mostly because of the full game's recent delay to February next year.
