Fallout Is Amazon Prime Video's Second 100m-Viewer Show | TechRaptor

Amazon has announced that its Fallout TV show has become the Prime Video platform's second show to reach 100 million viewers, and you'll never guess what the first show to achieve this accolade was.

Over on X (formerly Twitter), Amazon announced the 100 million milestone with the rather pithy summary "achievement unlocked". The accompanying artwork proclaims that Fallout has "100 million viewers worldwide".

The first show to achieve this milestone, according to Amazon itself, was the first season of The Lord of the Rings show The Rings of Power, which should go some way towards telling you just how successful the Fallout show has been.

Of course, Amazon doesn't go into detail regarding the 100 million figure, so while it sounds impressive on the face of it, there's no guarantee all 100 million of those people stuck around to watch every episode.

It's also possible that a significant portion of the viewership Amazon cites only watched for a few minutes; without any more in-depth information, it's impossible to know how engaged the 100 million people who watched Fallout really were.
