Avatar: The Last Airbender is finally getting the triple-A RPG that fans have been asking for, and it's being developed by Saber Interactive and Paramount Game Studios.

For a series that seems perfectly suited to being adapted into a video game, Avatar: The Last Airbender hasn't had much luck over the years. Almost every Avatar game that's released since the series started has been low-effort and low-quality, with Platinum's Legend of Korra game from 2014 being the only decent go at translating the beloved world of Avatar.

The Nickelodeon series was a marvel, and this is so unnecessary

Avatar fans have been dreaming of the series getting the proper time and budget that it deserves for some time now, but it's seemed like something that was never going to happen. As it turns out, though, that dream is eventually going to become a reality, as the first triple-A Avatar game has been confirmed to be in development.
