The Public Test Beta for Dead by Daylight’s 8.3.0 patch has ended, and the DBD devs over at BHVR have released an update detailing the adjustments they’ll be making to the patch before it hits the live servers. The revert to the rarer moris is the most notable, with Ivory & Ebony moris once again allowing Killers to kill Survivors who have been hooked twice — the bonus bloodpoints have been removed. Some of the Skull Merchent changes have also been walked back somewhat, with the devs noting that they’d like to revisit the Killer for a larger rework down the line. Multiple Perks that were changed on the PTB have also had those changes adjusted, as discussed below.

The mori change is an interesting one, and according to BHVR, in large part due to the fear that the bonus bloodpoints would encourage unfun behavior from Killers seeking to guarantee their moris; the fact that there weren’t mid-match kills was also seen as a loss.

Skull Merchant should still feel weaker when you face her in 8.3.0, but not quite as weak as she was on the PTB. Hillbilly got a bit of a boost to his Overdrive Chainsaw movement, so...
