Civilization 7 PC Specs Revealed Ahead of February Launch | TechRaptor

Firaxis and 2K have announced the Civilization 7 PC specs ahead of the game's launch in February, giving you plenty of time to potentially upgrade your machine if it isn't up to scratch.

Civilization 7 launches on February 11th across PC and consoles, but it's the PC release in which Firaxis and 2K are interested in today

Three different spec presets have been outlined by the two studios: Minimum, Recommended, and Ultra. As you've probably guessed, you'll need flashier and flashier components the higher up the preset list you climb.

Here are the three different PC spec requirements for Civilization 7. Bear in mind that for all three of these, you're going to need an SSD with at least 20GB of free space; an HDD won't cut it. You'll also need to have upgraded to DirectX 12.

Naturally, you're also going to need Windows 10 or 11 installed on 64-bit architecture for these presets. 2K and Firaxis say Civilization 7 will also be released for Linux and SteamOS, but no specs for those platforms are available yet.
