Cyberpunk 2077's first and only expansion Phantom Liberty launched just over a year ago, and yet players are still finding secrets in the new area it added to the game. As one fan has just discovered, Dogtown takes its anti-NYPD philosophy very seriously, and won't actually let you enter if they think you're a cop.
I just tried it and, true enough, you'll get turned away at the door if you try to enter Dogtown in an NYPD car. A message even flashes up on the gate, calling you an NCPIG, which is fair enough.

It's an impressive detail considering very few players are likely to try and enter Dogtown in this way - there's no way to store cars that you steal in the game, so you'll have to be able to nick a police car without getting caught. If you do get caught and have the police chasing you when you get to the border, then Dogtown security will turn hostile too - speaking from experience here.
However, if you manage to get your wanted level...
