Metaphor: ReFantazio Fans Have Been Grinding The Demo For Up To 60 Hours

October is absolutely jam-packed with interesting and exciting titles, but one of the highlights has to be Metaphor: ReFantazio, the next game by the team behind Persona 5 that trades in high school life for a race for the crown in a fantasy world. Last week, developer Atlus released a demo to give us a taste of what's to come, allowing us to play through the game's opening.

Metaphor: ReFantazio is easily compared to Persona, but it's also a fresh new entry for Atlus that shouldn't be seen as just another Persona-like.

For most of you, that will mean playing through the demo and beating it in around a few hours, and then marking your calendar and getting excited about the full release. Not every player is built the same though, as some people have been enjoying the game so much that they've barely put it down since it launched.

One such player is Twitter user Ceyarma (thanks GamesRadar), who was recently outed on the social media platform for having spent a whopping 48 hours in Metaphor: ReFantazio's demo. In a follow-up tweet, Ceyarma exclaims that they'll wear the play time "like a badge of honor", going on...
