Bloober Team's remake of Silent Hill 2 has taken most of us by surprise by actually being quite good. Usually, this is a good thing. But for some reason, those who were determined to hate the remake haven't backed down in the face of positive reviews and are simply pretending that they don't exist.
As spotted online, the Wikipedia page for Silent Hill 2 Remake is being repeatedly vandalised, as users edit the page to lower the review scores. The scores are being changed to be as low as 0/10 from some outlets, despite the fact that the sites they link to actually gave the game high scores.
The Wikipedia page has since been given semi-protection status, meaning it can't be edited by unregistered users. It's easy to see why, as the logs show multiple users adding bizarre and completely false edits to the page when the reviews started coming in.
One edit claims that the game "received the worst reviews imaginable from critics", something which is very much not grounded in reality. The same editor changed all of the review scores to a zero. Another says it received "overwhelmingly negative" reviews, and is "considered to be the worst...
