The planned Until Dawn movie adaptation has officially wrapped filming, according to a post from director David F. Sandberg's Instagram account. Originally, the movie began its principal photography on August 5 before wrapping nearly exactly two months later on October 4.

It's unclear exactly when the Until Dawn movie is slated to release, but when it does, it'll become the latest PlayStation video game to receive an adaptation through Sony's PlayStation Productions arm. That arm has released an Uncharted and Gran Turismo film, along with supporting The Last of Us and Twisted Metal TV adaptations.

$60 is totally fair for the improvements we're getting.

In the leadup to Until Dawn's adaptation, the video game, which was originally developed by Supermassive, received a remake by Ballistic Moon that launched earlier this month. That game debuted to mixed reviews, including a 73 Metacritic score.

As mentioned up top, David F. Sandberg is the director for the adaptation, and he has a rather strong background in the horror genre. He first rose to fame with his Lights Out movie before developing Annabelle: Creation. After that, he shifted to more mainstream fare, having helmed both Shazam! movies.
