In Stardew Valley, you can bring villagers to your farm by marrying them, but one fan found a way to bring an entire towns worth of people onto their acreage thanks to the 1.6 update.

The game now supports eight-person multiplayer, so if every farmhand builds a house and marries a villager, you can get eight townsfolk to move in. Even better, if any of your farmhands leave the game, the villagers will stay so long as you don't demolish their house. All you need to do is coral seven friends to play Stardew Valley at the same time, quickly marry a bunch of villagers, and have a couple of kids each. Then your farm will forever be overflowing....
