Nintendo is an expert when it comes to hiding little Easter eggs within its games. Donkey Kong: Tropical Freeze contained Samus' ship from Metroid, Ocarina of Time had posters featuring members of the Mushroom Kingdom, and Link's Awakening featured a variety of characters from different Nintendo franchises.

Tomomi Sano is the first woman to direct a mainline Zelda game, as she leads the development of Echoes of Wisdom.

Some of these secrets are subtle, while others are quite brazen, and a potential new Easter egg in The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom that we've theorized about at TheGamer certainly falls into the first category.

In Echoes of Wisdom, Zelda comes into contact with two different Zora tribes — the river Zora and the ocean Zora. Each tribe has its leader, and each leader is supported by an assistant.

In the case of the river Zora, the leader is supported by a character named Inawa, and for the ocean Zora, the leader has an assistant named Rogma. These names are potentially a small nod to Nintendo legends Satoru Iwata and Reggie Fils-Amié.

While it may seem a little bit of a stretch, this wouldn't be the only example of Echoes...
