James Sunderland Gets Filthier The More You Play Silent Hill 2 Remake

Silent Hill 2's remake progressively makes James Sunderland more dirty and tired throughout the game, including giving him grubby fingernails and big bags under his eyes.

Now that we know the Silent Hill 2 remake is actually quite good and can all stop holding our breath, fans have started noticing all of the little details that Bloober Team has added to its take on the horror classic. One of the most interesting that's been spotted (and later highlighted by Bloober itself) so far is how the remake treats its protagonist, James Sunderland.

It's hard to imagine horror on par with Silent Hill 2, but Mouthwashing pulls it off, and that's exactly why you should make room for it.

Ignoring the silly Dog and UFO endings, James' trip to Silent Hill is absolute hell and sees him dealing with nightmarish creatures, foggy vistas holding even more terror, and even toilets filled with you-know-what. As you can imagine, it's not the happiest game in the world, and that actually gets reflected by James' appearance.
