Dungeon & Fighter Creators Are Making An Anime, Manga, And A Novel Of The Series

The Dungeon & Fighter franchise may not be the biggest in the West, but it's a series that has a large following in Asia. The recently released Dungeon & Fighter: Origin, for example, achieved over $500 million in revenue in its first month and topped the iOS App Store charts for four successive weeks in China.

"Although the game has clear Souls DNA, it could end up as some strange, messy hybrid that fails to commit to anything."

The series' success in the Asian market, plus the imminent release of The First Berserker: Khazan, a Soulslike set in the DNF universe, has the franchise creators wanting to capitalize. Speaking exclusively to TheGamer, Khazan's creative director, Junho Lee, shared that Neople is working on an anime, a manga, and a novel of Dungeon & Fighter.
