Aspyr has announced a remaster of Star Wars Episode I: Jedi Power Battles, a classic side-scrolling action game from the PlayStation era.
Per a press release, the remaster will give the original game a new coat of paint, just like you'd expect. You can also look forward to revamped controls, so Jedi Power Battles should play a little more cleanly than its original incarnation did.
All thirteen of the game's characters will be unlocked from the start if you pick up the remaster, as will all of the levels. The remaster will also include the Versus and Training modes, which were introduced in later versions of Jedi Power Battles.
If you've got fond memories of enjoying this one as a kid alongside a friend, you'll be pleased to hear the remaster will include two-player couch co-op, so maybe you can call up that same friend and ask if they're up for a trip down memory lane.
