Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero has lots of unique pre-match banter if you put specific characters on your team, including some that poke fun at how many Goku variants are on the roster.

Ever since Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero was first revealed, there's been one big joke made about it - that it has a whole lot of Goku and Vegeta variants on its roster. While Budokai Tenkaichi veterans are more than used to that and actively want as many forms and eras as possible, it does look a bit funny that there are more than 20 playable Gokus at launch, and likely more to come.

Even if you’ve played the original Budokai Tenkaichi games, you aren’t prepared for how tough Sparking Zero’s story mode is.

It seems that Sparking Zero is very aware of this, though, and is even in on the joke with the rest of us. One unique feature that players have discovered since the game launched in early access is that certain team combinations cause special bits of dialogue to take place on the character select screen, including a few making fun of the tidal wave of "Hey it's me, Goku!".
