Gigantamax Pokemon Are Coming To Pokemon Go On October 26

Niantic debuted Dynamaxing in Pokemon Go a little more than a month ago, and as expected, the long-awaited arrival of Gigantamax Pokemon isn't far behind. It has now been confirmed that the debut of the Galar region mechanic will take place on October 26, 2024, and the first Pokemon you will be able to Gigantamax have already been revealed.

It was only a matter of time until Gigantamaxing joined Dynamaxing In Pokemon Go since the two mechanics go hand-in-hand and were both introduced to the Pokemon world in Sword & Shield. Go players have spent the last month getting to grips with Dynamax Pokemon which are basically just massive versions of regular Pokemon and hence quite a bit more powerful than they are when normal-sized.

Pokemon’s best region is being sidelined in Pokemon Go.

Gigantamax Pokemon are a little different. Not only do they grow in size, but their appearance changes too. They're also able to perform G-Max movies in Sword & Shield, but it's unclear if that will be the case in Pokemon Go, although it seems likely.
