A Death Note Game Has Been Rated In Taiwan

If you're like us, and can't get enough anime video games, no matter how bad some of them are (*cough* Black Clover: Quartet Knights), then it looks like you'll be in luck. That's because, after previously being trademarked back in June, a game centered around the iconic Death Note manga has been rated in Taiwan.

As first spotted by Gematsu, the Taiwan Digital Game Rating Committee, the equivalent to the U.S.'s ESRB or EU's PEGI, the unannounced Death Note game has received ratings for both the PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4. The game will apparently be published by Bandai Namco, which handles a large portion of anime games, though a developer isn't mentioned.

Given the trademark, followed by the rating, it would appear that the game is at least inching closer to a potential reveal. Perhaps the most pressing thing is just what kind of game would Death Note even warrant.
