When discussing the fictional "Metaverse," a lot of minds, including our own, immediately flock to Fortnite. After all, Epic Games' live-service battle royale has a litany of IP and pop culture collaborations under its belt.
"Most Wanted" looks to be inspired by games like Dishonored and Hitman.
However, over the years, Call of Duty has quickly established its own "Metaverse." Famous athletes like Lionel Messi to artists like Nicki Minaj, down to pop culture highlights like the Armored Titan from Attack on Titan, have all been sold at one point or the other.
Now, it looks like another famous person could be joining the battlefield, and he might be bringing his son with him.
Taking to Twitter, Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James tweeted at the official Call of Duty account, asking for them to reach out to him so that his son, Bronny, could get his own skin in the game.
Naturally, of course, the COD account replied, and did the elder James one better: the account teased doing a father-son skin pack for the game.
At the time of writing, nothing featuring the James family is imminent, though that could quickly change. Especially as Black Ops...
