Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero has sold over 3 million copies in its first week, earning its place as a video game blockbuster, a position that is nothing new for the Dragon Ball franchise.

Among the many elements of the game that millions of true DBZ fans seem to love is how it does not balance out its characters and instead sticks to the power leveling given in the story itself.

This means that characters like Vegito, a fusion between Son Goku and Vegeta, absolutely demolish anyone in their way.

Being a fighting game, many were expecting Bandai Namco to include leveled-out characters, providing a fair fight for the players, no matter whom they choose to fight with.

However, that would also have taken away the whole essence of the franchise, which is also seemingly the reason why the creators kept the difference in the power leveling intact. This means someone like Krillin would have a hell of a time in a battle against Beerus, the Literal God of Destruction.
