Capcom has announced another major sales milestone for its Resident Evil 4 remake, and the studio has also posted a new piece of artwork to celebrate the milestone.
Over on X (formerly Twitter), Capcom confirms that the Resident Evil 4 remake has sold eight million copies since being released last year. That seems to suggest that sales are coming along nicely; sales were at seven million back in March, so that's another million copies in the intervening months.
To celebrate the game's newest sales achievement, Capcom also posted art depicting Leon S. Kennedy, Ashley Graham, and Hunnigan all enjoying a day out together, which is a pretty heartwarming way to mark the occasion.
The Resident Evil 4 remake was released towards the end of March last year, and it took the game just two days to rack up three million sales.
Further milestones would swiftly follow in the weeks to come, cementing the remake's place as one of Capcom's best-selling Resident Evil games (although it hasn't quite caught up to Resident Evil Village yet).
