Developer and publisher Crema has announced the Temtem: Swarm Early Access release date, with the Temtem spinoff set to release next month.
Per a Steam post, the game will arrive via Steam Early Access on November 13th, and it'll cost you just $9.99, although it'll be cheaper in Poland and Brazil due to the way regional Steam pricing works.
Perhaps somewhat unusually for an Early Access release, Crema also says it doesn't intend to raise Temtem: Swarm's price at any stage, although it does "reserve the right to adjust the price at a later date" following particularly significant updates or extra content.
In its announcement post, Crema goes into detail regarding why it's chosen to release Temtem: Swarm in Early Access.
The studio acknowledges that "Early Access games have a bad rep sometimes" (although not from certain sectors of the industry), but goes on to say that Early Access is a good model for the bullet heaven genre "because of all the fine-tuning and tweaking".
Crema says that in order to "refine gameplay, balance the world, and ensure Temtem: Swarm is the most exciting and engaging it can be", Early Access is a necessary step.
