Konami has announced that the Silent Hill 2 remake has hit a big sales milestone, and the game managed to achieve said milestone in just a few days.
Per a press release (for which we're using machine translation), Silent Hill 2 managed to rack up a million sales by October 11th, which is just three days after the game's launch on PlayStation 5 and PC.
The fact that Silent Hill 2 is a console exclusive, with an Xbox port around a year away at least, arguably makes that milestone more impressive. Here's hoping this leads Konami to think about making more Silent Hill games in the future.
The one million figure combines physical shipments and digital sales, although Konami doesn't say how those two are weighted, so we don't know whether the digital or physical version of the game has proven more popular.
