If you loved the dark, brutalist atmosphere of Control and the mysterious air of Alan Wake but craved a more run-and-gun experience, you will love FBC: Firebreak.

FBC: Firebreak is a three-player co-op shooter that brings DOOM-esque combat to a grim goofiness reminiscent of Lethal Company.

The game was announced as part of the Xbox October Partner Preview, and places you and your friends as agents of the Federal Bureau of Control.

Your job is delightfully simple: if something is in the wrong dimension, you blow it to smithereens.

The items coming to FBC: Firebreak are varied, including normal items such as a hand-cranked Gatling gun, or a garden gnome that turns living beings from biology into chemistry as it explodes.

Remedy communications lead Thomas Puha has noted that the tools you get in FBC: Firebreak are not your classic consequence-free power-ups.
