Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero only just released last week, but fans are already calling for Bandai to add a new playable character - Gohan Black, from the game's best and most surprising Sparking Episode.

As someone who spent the last decade and a half waiting for the Budokai Tenkaichi series to make its grand return, Sparking Zero has had me grinning like an absolute idiot from the moment I started playing it. There was one scene that made that grin turn into a dropped jaw, though - Gohan's Sparking Episode.

Xenoverse is all about alternate scenarios, but Sparking Zero’s what-if battles are all far more interesting and surprising.

All of Sparking Zero's what-if scenarios are great, but Gohan gets the absolute best of them all. Instead of losing to Frieza in the Resurrection F saga, Gohan goes Ultimate, takes him out, and realises he needs to get back into shape. This causes a ripple effect where he's the strongest warrior of Universe 6, taking the place of Goku and leading to the Zamasu taking over Gohan's body instead.

This causes one of Sparking Zero's most surprising moments, as Gohan goes into the future with Trunks and finds Gohan...
