If you were waiting to play Black Myth: Wukong until it received a physical release, then we have some news for you. Because after originally launching digitally-only, Game Science, the team behind Black Myth: Wukong, is seemingly gearing up for a physical edition.
On Sunday, the official Wukong Twitter account shared that the "master disc" of the game is ready, and as a result, "the PS5 physical edition will be available to you very soon."
Previously, the game's physical edition was slated to be a code in a box, owing to the team's "limitations in offline resources required for the import, export, transportation, distribution, and sales of physical discs." However, those issues seem to have been resolved.
As for a price, reliable insider billbil_kun shared on their Twitter account that the game's physical edition will be released on October 21, with a USD price of $64.99, $5 more than the digital edition. The EU version will seemingly be priced at €69.99. A release so quickly seems hard to believe, but stranger things have happened. Oct. 21 might be the day that preorders open up, if anything at all.
