Astro Bot has jumped into the hearts of long-time PlayStation fans with its myriad of references, engaging platforming, and fun gimmicks. It has easily made its way onto the game of the year lists of many. However, despite its cutesy presentation, it's definitely not a walk in the park.
The "game for kids" hides plenty of challenge off the beaten path.
While the main levels are pretty easy and fun to get through – especially the ones themed around various PlayStation IPs – the bonus levels are no joke. There are quite a few of them that will make you tear our antenna out, but fans have agreed upon the hardest one – Splashing Sprint.
While most of the bonus levels are quite tricky, especially compared to the regular ones, Splashing Sprint has been giving a lot of player grief, and is one of the main hurdles to getting a Platinum trophy. If you've got only one bot left to rescue, there's a big chance they're at the end of this level.
While getting over the initial pool of lava is no big deal, it's the horizontal, moving pillar of fire that most players can't seem to deal with. The pillar moves...
