When it comes to superhero video games, most would agree that the Batman: Arkham series is the one to rule them all. However, the series ended with Arkham Knight, and fans have been begging for another installment. Unfortunately, we got a VR entry in the form of Batman: Arkham Shadow.
With Batman: Arkham Shadow the two most recent games in the series will be VR games released nearly a decade apart.
Despite the disappointment of the game being on a platform that most people don't have, the game seems to be getting some positive buzz. The latest we've learnt about the game is that Scarecrow will be played by none other than Elijah Wood, known for his role as Frodo in The Lord of the Rings trilogy.
When you think of a character like Jonathan Crane a.k.a. Scarecrow, Elijah Wood isn't the first actor that would come to mind. However, a quick glimpse at some behind the scenes footage shows Wood playing the character in mo-cap gear with an eerie aura. It seems his time with the One Ring has taught him how to be menacing.
